ABOUT US

Altapure is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wisconsin, maintaining offices at P.O. Box 166, Tomahawk, WI. All members of its staff have either a masters degree in the sciences, an engineering degree or a successful career in marketing.

After more than five years of research and product development, Altapure has overcome numerous technical obstacles making it possible to create a dense cloud of Ultra-Small/Sub-Micron Droplets (Ultracron) or USSMD from a wide range of liquid agents by the application of the physics of ultrasonics. Altapure is working to substantially widen the scope of applications for its platform. Outside of the field of medicine, the list of potential applications is expansive providing solutions for food production and the military.

Prior to Altapure's technology, there was no commercially viable method to generate useful quantities of aerosol particles less than 7-10 microns in size to address the problems posed by large space contamination. Nozzle technology under the best of circumstances cannot produce droplets less than ten microns. The larger drops of typical aerosols consume and deposit, as a residue, large volumes of the source liquid. A 10-micron drop comprises 1000 times the liquid as compared to a 1-micron droplet; their condensation leaves surfaces and items visibly wet thus limiting their use for many applications. The larger droplet size also prevents penetration and diffusion into remote or "protected" spaces. Their weight/mass causes them to move and diffuse slowly and quickly "rain" out.

The J600 machine will be rolled out in late April, 2009 and will represent state of the art engineering and modular capacity. It has been designed to meet UL, ISO-9000, 60601, ANSI and military standards. This product is a six transducer machine capable of being operated in several configurations for use in the medical and pharma industries.
